В пятницу я улетаю учится в Бирмингем по программе ERASMUS  +) Я и еще 4 человека собираемся жить вместе. И как не странно но  выходит что в общаге там жить дороже чем снимать собственное жильё. А поскольку степендия маленькая и просто необходимо экономить,  мы решили снять дом.
                    Решил написать объявление, на сайте - gumtree.com. В тот же вечер пришло преложение от которого просто невозможно было отказатся. И было удивительно дешево. Все счета включены,и всё просто невероятно аффигенно. Это меня и насторожило но всё-же я продолжил переписку.

Предложили мне:  (это второе письмо)

На письмо я ответил с просьбой номера телефона чтоб договорится о встрече. Но ответ я получил еще более подозрительный.

                            There is certainty and every possibility that you will view the property but I am presently in Cambridge now because I moved in with my mother in order for me to check her medical condition,So I need to be sure that you are capable of renting the property before I can come to Birmingham,imagine a girl ask me to come from Cambridge to Birmingham that she wanted to rent the property I left to meet her on getting there she told me that she wanted to rent the property but I should allow her to stay till the end of the month before she can pay me and the other was no where to be found...after I had left Cambridge to Birmingham for the viewing and renting can you see how bad and unfair that was,I need to see a sign or proof that you are capable and you have the money to rent the property before i can come for the viewing but am very sure that you will like the property.At my age , I cant be stressing myself when am not sure that you are capable.The property is available now and you can move in at anytime.

The only way for me to confirm that you are capable of renting the property is just for you to send a month rent and the refundable security deposit via Western Union to your friend or anybody that you trust in u.k and scan the receipt for me to see and confirm from Western Union and after i confirm it,i will email you to tell the receiver to withdraw it  then i will be sure that you have the money to rent the property .Its what people have caused me that is why,they tend to make you waste your time.Its for the safety of both parties but am very sure that you will like the property. I am NOT asking you to send money to me please DO NOT get me wrong but to anybody that you trust in U.k here ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY,I will NOT collect any money from you NOT until you have the keys to your hand and the rental agreement form signed by you.I think you understand my position here too.The charges that you make at Western Union outlet will be refunded back to you if you don't like the property and if you like the property the money will be deducted from the balance you will pay me,i think you understand.

В общем тут сразу понятно что дело не чисто. Хотя в приципе нечего криминального он не предлагает. В общем я решил что поищу как я по гуглу про лахотроны по типо этого. И нашел очень много информациии на эту тему.

Схема такая:

Another recent arrival is a scam in which people looking for a new flat are asked to send money to themselves by Western Union Money Transfer and then give the receipt to a prospective landlord, in order to prove they have enough money for rent and deposit on a new property. This is not standard practice in house-letting and we strongly advise people not to do it! Once the scammer gets the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) from the receipt they've effectively got control over your money


У кого плохо с англиским. Арендатор просил меня скинуть деньги на счет в банке Вестерн Юнион своему другу в UK. Как подтерждения того что я могу оплатить жильё. А мой друг(доверенное лицо) сделал бы распечатку о переводе денег, и отсканировал бы её. И эту распечатку послал бы арендатору. А он бы в свою очередь зная номер счёта перевода денег каким то образом смог бы восползоватся им чтоб контралировать эти деньги.
